My story is as follows i got married recently to a young man. As we do not live in the same country, we see just on holidays time ( 5 separate weeks during which we had too many misunderstandings at all levels ). We decided to divorce. My husband suggested to give us an opportunity However, we got back to the same misunderstanding but this time on the phone or on the net.
I made “Salat al Istikhara” during all Ramadan, and by the end of the month I got the conviction that I can not continue in my marriage. I discussed the thing with the family telling all the negative points in the person of my husband.
My husband came and asked that I give up my rights “nafaka” to get my divorce, my family did not appreciate this. After some days, I agreed with the family to ask for divorce as he did go back to where he lives without even coming to see me.
Today, the legal procedure to get my divorce is underway. The problem is that he called again to get a chance. I am confused because I am afraid to give this chance knowing that noone in the family can support me except my mother who tells me that he should come to see my brothers and accept to be correct in his behavior towards me.
The dilemma I am living in is 1st will this person be more correct to me and 2nd how will the family perceive the fact of coming back together and they all know about the details of his misbehavior.
